Overview

Circle Software, Inc. ("Circle," "we," "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, partners, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information across our products — FocusDB, TestDB, WorkforceDB — and our corporate website.

Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, role, and billing information. This data is encrypted using post-quantum cryptography (CRYSTALS-Kyber) at rest and in transit.

Usage Data: Our TS3 metering engine collects anonymized usage telemetry — including compute time, storage volume, and feature utilization — to provide accurate billing and improve platform performance. This data is never sold to third parties.

Communications: When you contact us through our website, submit a support ticket, or interact with our sales team, we collect the content of those communications to provide and improve our services.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to provide, maintain, and improve our products; process transactions; respond to inquiries; send product updates and security alerts; comply with legal obligations; and detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers who assist in operating our platform (cloud infrastructure, payment processing), when required by law, or with your explicit consent. All third-party processors are contractually bound to equivalent security and privacy standards.

Data Security

All data is protected by NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptography, stored in SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, and managed under FIPS 140-3 validated key management. We conduct annual third-party penetration testing and continuous automated vulnerability scanning.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, restrict processing, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@circlesoftware.com.

Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted using cryptographic erasure — rendering the data unrecoverable even with quantum computing capabilities.
